Recently added: Random Quotes Home Page On this site I’ve assembled hundreds of philosophical quotations about politics, history, religion and individual freedom etc. Many represent controversial and sometimes opposing points of view. My religious and political beliefs are based, in part, on many of the ideas expressed in these and similar quotations. Atheist and Agnostic thoughts have influenced my views concerning organized religion while Anarchist and Libertarian writers have given me cause to question our modern concept of a “Municipalist” or “Stakeholder” democracy which I believe is very similar in political doctrine to what George Orwell refers to as “Oligarchical Collectivism,” in his most famous novel; Nineteen Eighty Four. Tomorrow, I may support an entirely different point of view, depending on what I discover and choose to believe, between now and then.
